Feb 09, 2016 · I just received my new Apple TV (after using the older version for years). Disappointed that many of the apps - HBO Go, Showtime, History, and others cannot be activated with Charter-Spectrum. Charter says they do not have an agreement with Apple for Apple TV - but they do have an agreement with Apple for these channels on my iPad apps.
At this point, Charter will not authenticate the HBO Go app on the Apple TV, even you can use the iPad HBO Go app and Airplay it to the Apple TV, accomplishing the same thing, in a more So my wife likes the convenience of the hbo go app via our TE3 running bolt. We have the max app on Apple TV so it's not a matter of access. It's a matter of "staying on hdmi1" and using a consistent remote! So that means on this bolt I'm SOL, unless TiVo throws us a bone and actually adds the hbo max app to te3. Bummer.
